Happy Chinese New Year

One the eve, reunion with family members,
Eating while enjoying with laughters,
Having a mind free from matters,
Involving the oldies and youngsters.

No sweeping on the first day,
This is the culture and the way,
Early in the morning to pray,
Hoping everything at the very least going okay.

Chinese New Year, one of the biggest celebrations in the world,
It glitters more than the pearl,
The firecrackers, straight, curl and whirl,
People enjoying them even though in some countries, they are illegal. ^^

We know he is always fair,
Wondering here and there,
To provide blessing and care,
Welcoming the god of prosperity, 'Chai Sen Yeah' .

The food, I have to say 'Wow' ,
Everything tastes so nice no matter how,
I am so happy and excited right now,
Because I have 15 days to get all my 'ang pow'.

It's only once a year,
To celebrate and to cheer,
Adults having 'yam seng' with beer,
Steamer wishing everybody a Happy Chinese 'Niu' Year.
